Chinese Pond-heron

The length of Chinese Pond-heron is about 40 cm. During the breeding season, the head, neck, chest are marron-red, and the long back feathers are black. The waist, abdomen, wings and tail are white, and the shin, toes are flesh red. After the breeding season, the head, neck, and chest go brown, and the shin and toes turn to canary. The iris is golden yellow, and the lore is green-yellow. The bill is yellow, with black end.
